All tours are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.

Minimum tour fees apply to ensure tour departure. If the group size results in the minimum tour cost being exceeded then the per person cost will apply.

Unless associated with a function booked at Te Papa tours must be completed within Te Papa's public opening hours. Te Papa is open every day of the year 10am - 6pm and Thursday 10am - 9pm.

Payment

Payment can be made by cash, travellers cheques, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners) or bank transfer. Cheques should be made payable to Te Papa. Te Papa Tours does not accept personal cheques. Full payment is required either prior to or on the day of your tour.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing and such notice is not effective until received by Te Papa. Days of notice commence from the day notice is received (during office hours not being week-end or public holiday) by Te Papa. There will be no cancellation fee for those tours cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. If cancellation occurs within the 24 hour notice period 100% cancellation fee applies.

Te Papa reserves the right to cancel any ticket or booking or to refuse to carry any passenger where payments have not been received by Te Papa prior to the tour departure unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed to by Te Papa.

Whilst Te Papa will take all reasonable steps to provide an enjoyable tour, Te Papa accepts no liability for any loss of enjoyment whatsoever and howsoever experience by the passenger.

Amendments to booking

If, after making your booking and receiving confirmation from us, you wish to change to another of our tours or alter your booking to another date, we will do our utmost to make the changes provided notifaction is received at least 3 days prior to your original tour’s departure date.

Price changes

The prices of the tours offered by Te Papa are subject to change. Confirmation of the per person cost and total group charge for the tour will be provided in the confirmation correspondance regarding your booking.
