Since retiring from Te Papa three years ago Rosanne Livingstone has been busy studying the textiles found during the excavation of a Roman period village in Egypt. Her study required her to undertake two six-week periods of fieldwork in rural Egypt, and for a textile historian with a passion for ancient textiles she is very much ‘living the dream’.
